Nestled in the Woods

It’s Resurrection Day
and great reminder
of that wonder-filled event,
as awakening life
is in all nature.
The air is redolent
with fragrant growth
and life anew.
No longer I lament
the winter of my soul.
Icy pasts are gone,
and with me He is present.
He has risen!
He has risen, indeed!
I am content.
